2017 was a very special year for me. I am incredibly thankful to all my clients who believe in me and my photography. I truly enjoyed every session and met so many great people. I hope to see many of my clients this year too and make new friends as well.
Here is a selection from our sessions in 2017, which makes my heart sing.
If this style of photography appeals to you then do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you. At the moment I am booking sessions for Spring 2018! You can find more details here: http://www.ramanava.com/booking.html
We had this incredibly cute, gentle and funny maternity session last spring! It was quite rainy and we hid in one of the tropical houses in Geneva Botanical Garden. This was such a perfect atmosphere – rain outside, almost no visitors and us surrounded by exotic plants from far away.
For me taking pictures of couples awaiting their first child is very special. I get a chance capture the last moments of the couple's relationship which is about to turn into something new. The love which is about to became MORE and different, VERY different! I am incredibly thankful that you let me see this, capture this, that you share your love and your hope with me.
And thank you so much for these kind words!
"We were lucky enough to have a maternity photo session with Maryia at the Jardin Botanique in Geneva when we were 36 weeks pregnant. Not only did we enjoy talking to and spending the time with Maryia, but she also put us at ease and we felt very comfortable around her. Now we have beautiful photos of us with our baby bump, as well as some of the loveliest photos of the two of us. We appreciate the beauty of the photos and setting, how she helped us with interesting yet natural-looking poses, and how she captured so many special moments between us. We are grateful for these sweet memories of a special time before our family expanded. Thank you, Maryia!" - Eric & Rebecca
Would You Like To Have a Session in Botanical Garden?
I took hundreds of lovely pictures and have hardly shown them. Here are some which I really enjoy! So much love and light! Thank you and hope to see you next year!
I think it is time to start getting into the festive end-of-the-year mood! I have been taking your family portraits for two years now and I cannot express how happy and overwhelmed I am with the results! I decided to organize a small gift giving action to thank you for your trust and support! So I have randomly chosen some of my most favourite pictures. I really could not chose all of them because the list would be too long. And of course I also could not chose photographs for which I do not have a model release.
So here are the rules!
Please vote for your favourite picture in the comment below and share this post on a social media. The photographs which will get most of the votes will be printed as 20x30 cm high quality prints and will be sent to the models. I am thinking of having three winners but we will see! Thank you for taking part in this fun project! Cheers!
It was my first year of being a family photographer! Really I cannot believe that I managed it! It was truly a balance masterpiece for me and my husband – where would I be without him? But look at me now! Here I am (filled with sweets in Germany) writing my first year report! I met 54 families and made them my own! I really loved and smiled at every picture taken (even at those that did not work out!) This such an unbelievable and overwhelming feeling that you trusted me your time and showed me your love! And now my pictures will stay in your family story forever! Incredible, right? Thank you my dears! You made this year so very special for me! And even if we sometimes had a not so smooth experience working together I am still very thankful for your trust and honesty and I will improve thinking of you! And all of your families will stay in my heart and become a part of my family story too! I hope we will see each other next year and in the years to come! Hooray! Here is a small selection of my favourites!
