Why Your Newborn Session Is SO Important For The Father | by newborn photographer in Geneva and Vaud27/10/2020  When the baby is born it is usually expected that the father should be taking all the beautiful newborn photos of the baby and of the mother. But it is not easy to do!  First of all - probably this is the first time you see a newborn baby in your life. You REALLY do not know what to do! Babies do not feel comfortable in the bright light, they suddenly cry, they make all those funny faces and they move all the time. So most of your pictures will be blurry or very dark. They probably will not be very flattering to anyone and will not capture all those great emotions, that are filling the room!  Also making a woman, who just became a mother, to feel relaxed, comfortable and beautiful - is not an easy task as well! She is tired, she is in pain and because of all the hormones – she is probably mad at you!  Moreover, even if you are a professional newborn photographer – you have just became a dad yourself. So your hands are probably shaking, your heart is beating like crazy and you just want to embrace the love of your life and a new caterpillar. And this is exactly what you should be doing. You should be close to your woman, you should get to know your new little one and you should be in the newborn photographs.  Hiring a newborn photographer will take lots of pressure away from you.
